Body and Voice Teaching Series
The body IS the instrument in singing!
Learning about the body and what helps it move well is the cornerstone of sound voice training.
Join Vocologists Ralph Magliano and Liz Johnson for discussion and exercises about whole body vocal health. Ralph is a clinical speech language pathologist and licensed massage therapist who specializes in helping singers release physical tension that negatively impact their ability to sing efficiently.
Each workshop will focus on an element of physical awareness to help participants assess and release tension for themselves.
This workshop is for singers, coaches, and anyone interested about the intersection of voice, body, and health.
Date: Sunday, June 14th
Time: 2-3:30 pm
Topic: An overview of the vocal system, with release exercises for the nervous system, posture, breath, phonation, resonance, and articulation.
Where: Film House, Nashville, TN
(directions provided with registration)
Cost: $50
Visit bodyandvoice.com for more information on Ralph's practice.
